Phase change material 6.5 is another one of our best selling phase change materials for temperature controlled packaging applications. The very specific melting and crystallisation peaks, with very little supercooling compared to other PCMs, makes it perfect for isothermal transport of sensitive goods. As well as thermal performance, the product is 100% biobased, which is certified by the USDA biopreferred program and it is expected to be readily biodegradable, unlike paraffin PCMs. It is also non-toxic and non-corrosive, setting it apart from salt-hydrate PCMs.
