Priolube 1407 is a highly versatile additive and base fluid. It is used as an organic friction modifier in engine oils and as a diesel lubricity additive and since it is also an ester which combines lubrication and emulsion properties, it is also suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications, particularly where incidental food contact approval may be required.
